Not all guest choose to write in our feedback book but all of those who have are copied to this page, the words below are exact quotations from the actual comments left in the book.
To make it easier to get an overall impression of opinions we have highlighted the key feature of each review in BLUE & the number of guests wishing to return or wished they had booked a longer break in RED.
New Year 2012
Best lodge I have ever stayed in, I lay in the Hot Tub with family. We all enjoyed the Wii Fit Plus - everyone had a laugh & we fed the ducks.

Very nice, Lodge is fantastic - everything you need & more, got a hot tub at home but not as good as this one! Lodge kept to a very high standard. Good location to explore, unfortunately I had to go bck to work! So was driving from here to Richmond everyday, but my wife & the kids had a good time feeding the ducks, playing in the park & watching movies.
Went fishing, caught one little tiddler, but seen other people catch plenty! Rose & Crown is worth a look in Sutton, food was very nice.
Thanks for a lovely time in the lodge + hope to be back soon.

6 Women stayed for the weekend & had a great time, loved the Hot Tub & the whole Lodge.

What a lovely way to spend a few days holiday, fantastic lodge - where the name says it all, it was indeed very 'Tranquil'. Ending each day lying in the Hot Tub was so relaxing.

We all had a brilliant holiday. York is lovely, lots to see & do. Unfortunately the first few days we had heavy rain but still managed to see the museums & Viking centre. The kids loved Flamingo Land, particularly the animal section.
The lodge is fantastic, really clean! The extras like tea, coffee, handwash Ect. really thoughtful & appreciated.
We all loved the Hot Tub, especially the kids, resort nice & quiet, people friendly, also the play park was fab.

Had a great time staying at the lodge, very nice site, quiet & peaceful.
Hot Tub was AMAZING, very nice after a day sight seeing!
Loads to do in the area, really enjoyed the DUNGEONS in York & our Son loved Xscape near Leeds.

What an amazing place to stay. Absolutely first class! Lodge so clean & tidy & a real home from home. Fantastic Hot Tub & lovely lighting on the decking. We've stayed in many lodges & this has to be the best.
The ducks are now on my daughters Xmas card list - a wonderful sight to wake up to. So much to do in the area, we've been to Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington, the Dales & today we went to the races at York. I will definately be recommending Tranquillity Lodge to friends & family.

The lodge was everything we had hoped for & more. On arrival the lodge was spotless & felt like a home from home straight away.
The Hot Tub.... what can we say....AMAZING!!
Our 5 month old son loved all the Geese & Ducks, the park was perfect for his first holiday. We hope to return later in the year, as the lodge is a good base to explore the area & is perfect for a family holiday.

Fantastic time in spotlessly clean lodge. Took advice of Richard the (Hot Tub Man) & went up to the North York Moors for a walk from Levisham village to the station on the steam railway, then in a circle via Farworth back to the HorseShot Inn for a loveley meal (had to book). York had just about everything a holiday venue sould have. Back Soon!

We've had an absolutely amazing time here at Tranquillty Lodge. What a superb/ stunning holiday home, so homely & cosy, we didn't want to leave. The kids have had a fantastic time! We went to Creepy Crawlies play centrre, Flamingo land & Water world. Also had a great day in York, definately would reccommend using the park & ride at Monks Cross!! The ducks have definately had a good week with us as they have been given more bread than they could wish for by our 3 year old. Feeding the ducks has been such great fun for her! Thank you for having us we cannot wait to come back again.

We've had a fantastic week & enjoyed staying in the lodge. Great place to stay with the kids. Lots of space for them to play & all the extras make life on holiday much easier. All loved the hot tub. Lots to do in the area, we'd quite happily stay another week. Will definately be back.

Lovely lodge, very homely with lots of extras you don't usually get in lodges. Very peaceful site in a lovely location. The boys enjoyed the fishing right outside our door. The hot tub was fantastic, lots to do in the area. This was the best lodge we have stayed in & wish we had been able to stay for longer.

Great Lodge, enjoyed our stay. Our little daughter loved feeding the ducks all day. Fantastic view, excellent facilities in the lodge, would recommend it to our friends.

Had a fantastic break, the lodge is equipped to a very high standard & is in immaculate condition. The lodge is perfectly located for fishing, which the boys loved & with the shops only 15 minutes drive away to Clifton Moor Retail Park, (Bowling, Cinema, Tesco & places to Eat) & Monks Cross, (excellent choice of clothes shops) the girls were happy too. Couln't resist using the hot tub in the cold outdoor temperature of just 2 degrees, it's surreal & really does have to be tried.
Thanks for providing a perfect Lodge & setting for our break.

The lodge was everything we hoped for & more. The hot tub was amazing, we enjoyed shopping & visiting the museums in York. I'd recommend using the park & ride at the nearby designer outlet as it is cheaper than parking in York itself & drops you off right outside York Dungeons.

In the words of our 5 year old, "this place is fantastical". We thouroughly enjoyed the lodge & York attractions. Hot Tub was VERY special we loved having so many TV's & channels to watch in the evenings. The park is very tranquil & a very peaceful location for a holiday whilst being close to lots of things to do for all ages.

Wow! Where to start?!? We have stayed in many 4 & 5 star holiday lodges, but Tranquillity outshines them all!
The lodge is finished & maintained to such a high standard, we felt like we were just the first guests here. Little things that most lodges overlook - soap, washing up liquid, tea & coffee are all here in abundance & it's this attantion to detail that turns a good lodge into a great one. The hot tub was excellent, the site was peaceful & the beds were SO comfortable. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We wish to thank you for a fantastic break....The lodge had EVERYTHING to make our family happy, ie. amazing hot tub, Wii, Sky TV & all the extra touches that other places we have stayed lacks, (plastic beakers, bathroom soap & volume of self catering equipment!).
Due to the weather being in our favor we visited Filey & Whitby (via steam train). On the only wet dayvisited the designer outlet at York & purchased some Christmas presents.
In summary, wouldn't hesitate to recommend here to family & friends.

Great lodge! We loved the hot tub (the lights are fab!) In a good location to get to several places, the hot chocolate was a good extra!!!
We enjoyed shopping at Monks Cross & Mc Arthur Glen, both very easy to get to. The internet was good as we could find more places that we could visit. The lodge as a whole was tidy, quiet & well equipped. I hope we will be back soon!

After a 21 hour flight from Cape Town, South Africa it was fantastic to come to a lodge that had all the bases covered.

Shopping in York & the attractions made for an enjoyable week even though we were unlucky with the weather.

Lodge very well equipped - any problems quickly sorted. Housekeeping staff very friendly & helpful. Hot tub great despite the wet weather.

Wow, what can we say!!! Tranquillity Lodge just perfect in every way. As the name suggests, tranquil, peaceful, relaxing for a perfect break.
The extra touches, e.g. coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even soap in the bathrooms just bonuses!
The hot tub was just hot-tastic!! Amazing and relaxing.
A few of the places we visited with the children were:- Lightwater theme park and Snowzone! Both are only 45 minutes drive away, plenty of places to eat drink and even shop especially at Snowzone (Xscape, Castleford). Cinema is only 5 minutes drive away and you will also find bowling, lazerquest, shops and somewhere to eat.
Will certainly be back!!
