Fishing Holiday in York

The lake at the park is so well stocked you're almost certain to catch something.

There are usually a handful of keen fishermen around the lake,

as well as a few amateurs. (children seem to love fishing too!)

The lake is stocked with Rudd, Roach, Tench and Carp up to 28.5lb!

This is definitely an ideal place to have your fishing lodge holiday.

After just 2 days fishing Emma (below) had her 1st bumper catch of an 8.5lb Mirror Carp right outside Tranquillity Lodge.

To fish you will require a fishing rod license & a permit to fish* (issued by reception)

*Permits are at an additional cost payable to the park

Note the following summary of fishing rules

No barbed hooks

No groundbaiting

All nets must be dipped prior to fishing

Children must be supervised at all times

All catches must be returned to the water

Typical bait includes Boilies, Luncheon meat, Sweetcorn, Ect.
